Cement and Garage Insulation

Another slow week came and went.  They poured the garage and front porch late last week.  Wayne Homes does not insulate the garage, so my dad and I did most of that this weekend.  I also spent some more time running Cat6 and other wires, but that's still a tremendous job that isn't completed yet.

Jace said that the house insulation would be completed by the end of this week, siding would start on Monday, the furnace would be in by the end of next week and stone and drywall would start the following week.

DAY 55
Garage insulation.


My little cousin Dylan came to help, but just ended up throwing rocks everywhere because he was bored.





So many cables going to one TV.

DAY 56
Basement floor.

    Looking good J.J.! I will be really excited when the cement is poured in ours. Our garage is being insulated as well as well as floor drains put in. Good luck with your wiring project. Just covered the additional wiring I want done with a electrician friend of mine. Great idea on that chase you ran to the attic!

      Thanks bill. Your place looks amazing. SO big! I'm hoping things move faster next week, but I think I'm just impatient overall. I hope framing has given you more of a feel of your house. Keep posting pics!
